Vallieswaran Vairavan, also known as Vallies, is a seasoned technology leader with over 23 years of experience in the industry. He is currently the Founder of i4ulabs.com, an incubation and prototyping company that offers mentoring and advisory services to startups. Vallies is responsible for hiring full-stack, Android, and data science developers for the company. Prior to his current role, Vallies worked as the Sr VP Engineering at Embibe, where he built a powerful personalized continuous evaluation system for India. He solved the problem of poor connectivity and continuous testing for second and third-tier cities and made personalized learning possible offline in the mobile app. Vallies also worked on AI-based personalization and behavioral evaluation systems on mobile and established a tech team of 4 to 25 people strong in the Bangalore office. Embibe received $180 million USD as strategic investment from Reliance Jio and exited to the investors. Vallies has also worked as the Head & VP Engineering Team at Arvind Internet Limited, where he was responsible for building a technical team, setting the vision, and managing programs for the launch of a new e-commerce venture. He oversaw the architecture of the e-commerce system and automation of the shop floor for manufacturing clothing. Vallies built a well-balanced team of 40 members in a year, including tech team, QA, web design, graphic design, and Maya 3D artist. His technical achievements include Maya rendering in cluster and AWS servers and constructing 3D garment images on the web using complex visualization. Arvind Internet Limited won the "SMART USE TECHNOLOGY eRETAILER OF THE YEAR" award at Indian retail and e-retail awards 2015. Vallies holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in IT from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology from Sona College of Technology, Salem. He is skilled in senior software engineering, testing, mobile, AI, Android, AWS, web, and QA. Vallies is currently hiring full-stack and React developers and is interested in solving problems related to automate retail, machine vision, supply chain optimization, on-demand inventory, grab and go, credit rating, personalized food, activity recommendations, and user purchase behavior predictions.
